How to Install a Toilet

A new toilet is a solid weekend project if the flange is sound. If it's not, that's where the job actually starts.

Common causes

• Old flange corroded or below finished floor
• Uneven floor requiring shims
• Wax vs waxless ring choice
• Supply line kinked or too short

Step-by-step
